What a label sold in Australia must show.
The care-labelling standard is enforced by the ACCC; origin marking comes under Australian import rules. This is an outline, not legal advice; your importer confirms the content for your product.
Care labelling is mandatory
The Consumer Goods (Care Labelling for Clothing and Textile Products) Safety Standard, based on AS/NZS 1957, requires adequate care instructions in English on a permanent label attached to the garment.
Country of origin
Imported clothing must carry a trade description that includes the country of origin, so "Made in India" goes on the label.
Fibre content
Not part of the mandatory care-labelling standard, but major retailers require fibre composition by percentage, and we recommend including it.
Sun, salt and sweat
Activewear and swimwear labels face chlorine, salt water and UV. Printed satin with colourfast inks, or a woven tab, is the usual choice.

Do your care labels meet the Australian care labelling standard?
We print the care instructions your spec sheet requires, in English, on a permanent label, which is what the standard asks for. The wording itself comes from your fabric testing; we can advise on layout and symbols.
Can you quote in Australian dollars?
Yes. The price calculator shows an indicative AUD conversion and your written quote can be issued in AUD. Payment is by SWIFT transfer or card online.
How long does delivery to Australia take?
Production takes 7-10 days from sample approval; courier transit to Australia is added on top and is included in your quote. We share the tracking number on WhatsApp at dispatch.
Who pays Australian import duty and GST?
You do, if the Australian Border Force charges them on the shipment. Our quote covers manufacturing and freight; the parcel travels with a commercial invoice and packing list for clearance.
