60 jerseys, 4 days,
no spelling errors.
A Pune cricket club was invited to a regional tournament 8 days before kickoff. They had jerseys printed but no labels: sponsor logo on the chest, player names on the back, numbers below. Every label maker they called quoted 10-12 days minimum.
The challenge
60 unique player names plus numbers, plus a sublimation sponsor patch: on polyester jerseys that would be washed at 60°C between matches. Anything less than three full wash cycles of survival was a fail.
What we did
Day 1: WhatsApp quote + player list received. Day 2: per-player previews sent for approval (caught 2 spelling errors before bulk). Day 3: rush production. Day 4: dispatched to club. Tournament Day 1 the team played in branded kits.
Sublimation sponsor patch
Dye becomes part of the polyester, survives 60°C wash.
Per-player name labels
Heat-press, unique to each jersey.
Number labels
Heat-press numbers below the back name.
The result
Club won the tournament (we don't claim credit) and ordered another 80 labels for the season. The captain referred two more clubs: both placed orders inside a month.
"We're a club, not a brand. Most factories laugh when you say 60 jerseys. They built the schedule around our match day, not the other way around."
Captain, Pune cricket club
